Baseball and Green Beans

Yes, the two do have something in common. Sort of.

Tomorrow is Roisin's first baseball game; a group of us from work are taking time off to go see our team play tomorrow and Rob and Roisin are coming along too (along with oh, 50 + other people from other division and other divisions.) It should be a blast---when I went last year, the experience almost made me a devout baseball fan. There's just something about seeing the game live (versus with commercial interruptions and inane commentary) that makes it fun...even if you're like me and the minutiae of baseball eludes you. Rob can keep track of it, which means I'll be with at least a few other people who really get it. Me, I'm just there to have a good time.

And here's the green bean segue. Roisin is finally getting used to veggies. We've been trying to wean her slowly onto solids and per our doc's recommendation, we started with cereals and veggies. She likes squash, is not so fond of peas, but loves her green beans. Next week we start on carrots and apple-vanilla-multi-grain puree. The adventure continues.....
